the staff at the hostel were incredibly accommodating, even when we had to change the time of our arrival multiple times due to train delays. the woman who met us was understanding and greeted us with a friendly smile. the hostel itself is modern and exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds. It is conveniently located across the road from a hop-on-hop-off bus stop, making it easy to explore Budapest. There are also plenty of bars within walking distance and the train station is only a 10-minute walk away. It offers great value for money and is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.
Was all great 👍

The staff were very accommodating and understanding when our train was delayed. The hostel was modern, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location was convenient, with a hop-on-hop-off bus stop across the road and plenty of bars within walking distance.
There was no real person-to-person interaction with the staff, and you fill out a form that can be seen by other guests. The cleaning schedule was unclear, and some amenities like toilet paper and the fridge were not replenished.

The triple room I stayed in at E14 Design Hostel had a balcony! It was so nice to relax outside and enjoy the view. The room was also equipped with air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the hot summer days. I loved having a flat-screen TV in the room, perfect for winding down after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I didn't really use the wardrobe in the room. But I can see how it would be useful for guests with more luggage.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The location was perfect, as it was situated next to the Jewish district and had easy access to public transportation. The hostel itself was very clean and modern, with renovated facilities and comfortable beds. The staff, though there was no reception, were extremely accommodating and understanding. They made sure to be at the hostel when I arrived, despite my train being delayed multiple times. The woman who greeted me was friendly and had a helpful smile. The sense of privacy was great, as there were no receptionists and only video cameras in the kitchen. The hostel also had a working elevator, which was a plus. this place offered great value for money and I will definitely return!
Nothing it was perfect.

We had a blast exploring Budapest with our squad. The hostel's location was on point - it was just a short walk to awesome places like the Dohany Street Synagogue and the House of Terror. Plus, the Keleti Pályaudvar Metro Station was super close, making it easy for us to hop around the city. We were living our best teenage life!
If there's one thing we could've asked for, it would be a better party scene. Don't get us wrong, we had a great time exploring the city, but we're young and love a good party.

Within a short walk, we visited the famous Dohany Street Synagogue, which was stunning and rich with history. Keleti Pályaudvar Metro Station was also nearby, making it easy to navigate the city. Another highlight was the House of Terror, a thought-provoking museum that shed light on Hungary's troubled past. We appreciated being able to experience all these attractions within close proximity to the hostel.
My children wanted more recreational activities for families.

The location of the hostel is fantastic, being in the heart of the city and just a short walk from the main attractions. there are plenty of eateries, cafes, and shops in the neighborhood, making it convenient to explore and find everything they need. the rooms are well, furnished with modern furniture and have nice bathrooms. the self check, in procedure is also a great advantage, providing an easy and hassle, free experience.
One aspect that could be improved is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Some guests have mentioned that they could have been cleaner and that shower gel was missing.
